Kathmandu (Xisong report) on the morning of January 7, 2020, Mr. Purna, Senior Journalist of Nepal, Mr. Puran Giri, project liaison of "Buddha Peace Square" and "Lumbini Buddhist Cultural Economic Special Zone - World Peace City" of the Nepalese government, and the delegation of Lumbini Buddha holy land Charity Foundation (Hong Kong) held a working lunch at Crown Holiday Hotel in Kathmandu.
First of all, Mr. Puran Giri recounted the thoughts of the Nepalese government on this project: first, he confirmed the working contact person of both sides and suggested the contact person determined by the Nepalese government of the delegation; he hoped that after the Spring Festival, the Charity Foundation would send a working team to Nepal to carry out specific discussions on the project; he hoped that the two sides could sign cooperation documents by the end of April 2020. The delegation expressed their appreciation and thanks for the positive attitude of the Nepali government and made a positive response to the work hope put forward by the Nepali government.
In an exchange with Mr. Purna, Chairman Yu said: on August 17, 2019, at the first meeting with Mr. Pune in Hong Kong, Mr. Purna expressed great enthusiasm for the project. Today, it's a great pleasure to meet Mr. Purna again in Kathmandu. I hope Mr. Purna can give more support to the promotion of the project. Mr. Purna said: first of all, I would like to express my pleasure and thanks to the Chairman’s delegation for coming to Nepal and docking with the government. He said: this project is a good project for the benefit of Nepalese and the promotion of Nepal's economic development. It is the duty of every Nepalese journalist to do a good job of promotion and publicity, and he has the responsibility and obligation to do his best for the promotion and publicity of this project. I hope this project can be carried out as soon as possible with the joint efforts of all of you. Finally, Mr. Purna said that he would arrive in Hong Kong on the 14th of this month and hoped to have further exchanges with Chairman Yu at that time. Chairman Yu said: we look forward to meeting Mr. Purna again in Hong Kong.
