On April 25, 2024, Mr. Yu Jingshan, Chairman of the Lumbini Buddha Holy Land Construction Charity Foundation (Hong Kong), personally led a delegation to Lumbini Buddhist University in Nepal as invited. This trip is a continuation of the collaboration between the main leaders of both sides on January 29th this year in Xi'an, China, regarding the development and construction of Buddha series projects such as the Buddha Peace Square (Shakyamuni Ancestral Hall) by the Lumbini Buddha Holy Land Construction Charity Foundation (Hong Kong) in Lumbini, Nepal. Further in-depth communication and exchange were conducted, and a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement was signed.

       In April, in Lumbini, the climate is warm and azaleas are in full bloom. At this delightful moment, Lumbini Buddhist University welcomed a delegation from the Lumbini Buddha Holy Land Construction Charity Foundation (Hong Kong). At the welcome ceremony, Professor, President of Lumbini Buddhist University Dr. Subarna Lal Bajracharya stated that on January 29th this year, Chairman Yu and I had friendly, candid, and extensive exchanges and communication in Xi'an, China. We reached multiple consensus on future cooperation and invited Chairman Yu to visit our school in April this year, while also having further communication and exchange on our cooperation.   Buddhist culture is vast and profound. For over 2000 years, it has had a profound and significant impact on social development and human progress, and is the source of peace. Shakyamuni Buddha was born in Lumbini, but as the founder of Buddhism, Buddha belongs to the whole world. The foundation led by Chairman Yu advocates for "welcoming the soul of Buddha back to his hometown and realizing the long cherished wish of Buddha's return to his hometown", constructing the "Buddha Peace Square" in Lumbini to provide peace for the soul of Buddha, and constructing the Shakyamuni Ancestral Court. The aim is to make Lumbini the first core holy land for global Buddhist believers to worship Shakyamuni Buddha. This is a high-altitude initiative to promote Buddhist culture, promote peaceful dissemination of positive energy, and also the well-being of the people of Lumbini. As the hometown of Buddha, the National Buddhist University will actively respond to this initiative and is willing to provide 200 hectares of land for the planning of the Buddha series of projects. This is a sincere cooperation and all-round cooperation. A good start, with the hope of early implementation of the Buddha series project.

       Chairman Yu expressed his gratitude to Lumbini Buddhist University for their warm reception of the work team and Professor Dr. Subarna Lal Bajracharya fully agrees and approves of President's speech. Thank you to Lumbini Buddhist University for agreeing to the proposal of our foundation to cooperate with Lumbini University to establish an International Buddha Education Exchange and Continuing Education College. The purpose and purpose of this foundation are highly aligned with the educational philosophy of Lumbini Buddhist University. We firmly believe that through comprehensive cooperation and joint efforts, Nepal's magnificent natural tourism resources and profound Buddhist cultural resources will be combined and integrated, promoting Nepal's economic development and benefiting humanity.

       The Vice President, Academic Director, and Professor of Lumbini Buddhist University also attended the meeting. The talks always took place in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. After the meeting, witnessed by the teams of both sides, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement was successfully signed, marking the beginning of cooperation.
