Taipei, Taiwan, China (Xisong report) on January 10, 2020, Mr. Xiao Wunan, executive vice chairman of the Asia Pacific Exchange and Cooperation Foundation, and Mr. Yu Jingshan, President of the Lumbini Buddha Holy Land Charity Foundation(Hong Kong), flew to Taiwan on a special flight to discuss with Master Jing Yao, President of the Chinese Buddhist Association of Taiwan, on the construction of Buddha Peace Square in Lumbini, Nepal and Lumbini Buddhist Special Cultural Economic Zone - World Peace City and other issues.
After listening to the introduction by Vice Chairman Xiao Wunan and president Yu Jingshan, Master Jingyao said: on January 2, 2020, in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, Chairman Yu and Ms. Shen Yan, Secretary General of the Asia Pacific Exchange and Cooperation Foundation, have briefed me on Buddha Peace Square" and Lumbini Buddhist Special Cultural Economic Zone - World Peace City. Today, Vice Chairman Xiao and Chairman Yu have come to Taiwan to introduce this project to me in detail. I am very pleased and sincerely thank you.
Master Jingyao said: this project can not only play a huge role in promoting Buddhism, but also play a greater role in promoting Nepal's economic development. It is a grand merit project that benefits the present and the future. I would like to do my best to help and promote this project.
