Kathmandu (Xisong report) on January 5, 2020, led by Mr. Yu Jingshan, chairman of the delegation of the Lumbini Buddha Holy Land Charity Foundation(Hong Kong), the delegation took the flight of Nepal Buddha airline to Lumbini from the Tribhuvan airport in Kathmandu. After nearly 35 minutes of flight, it slowly landed at Bhairahawa Airport. The local government of Lumbini sent a van to the airport Welcome the delegation.

The delegation immediately took the van to the holy land of Lumbini for pilgrimage. The blue sky and white clouds contrast with the oil green wheat and rape that thrive in the fields; the widening of the road project is being actively promoted; the local people's watch is calm and peaceful; the cattle and sheep that walk slowly on the road despite the traffic; the heaven, the earth, people and things are naturally integrated harmoniously. Maybe this is due to the spirit of Buddha.

Walk around the Holy Garden and feel the spirit of Buddha

Lumbini means "lovely" in Sanskrit. Siddhārtha Gautama, the prince of Kaplivastu, was born under the Sahara trees in the Lumbini Garden (now the town of Lumbini in lupindhi county). Siddhartha in his middle age finally achieved the enlightenment under the bodhi tree and created Buddhism, which made the world have a philosophy of loving peace and thinking. Because the sage was born here, Lumbini is known as the "hometown of Buddha", regarded as a Buddhist holy land, and one of the most important religious holy places in the world. In 1997, UNESCO listed Lumbini as a world cultural heritage site.

The delegation visited the Holy Garden of Lumbini, known as the "spring of world peace", and took off their shoes. Here, trees, streams, flowers and fragrant, misty clouds. The delegation first went to Maya Devi Temple to worship at the top of the temple, and witnessed the "Ashoka stone pillar" engraved with the inscription "where the Buddha was born". The ancient Indian Ashoka was one of the Pilgrims and a devout Buddhist believer. Xuanzang, a famous monk in the Tang Dynasty, also paid a visit here to collect scriptures and saw the inscriptions on the Ashoka's stone pillars.

All members of the delegation held Buddhist incense in their hands and walked around the Holy tree three times to thank the Buddha for blessing; they visited the "Lumbini Peace Pagoda" donated by Japan and the Chinese Temple donated by China. In 1970, countries around the world responded to the call and invitation of Nepal's "blue penitentiary committee" and "World Buddhist fellowship", and built more than 40 temples in blue penitentiary, which demonstrated the broad spectrum of Buddhism and the world nature of "Buddhist culture".

After visiting the Holy Garden, the delegation stayed at Tiger Palace Resort in Bhairahawa city in the north of Lumbini special area. The hotel has a beautiful environment, quiet and warm service. The whole atmosphere is integrated with the peace and harmony of Lumbini.

Lumbini is Nepal's pride and a world-class cultural resort. Every year, there will be a commemoration of the birth of Sakyamuni in Nepal, in memory of the great historical man who has brought great influence to human thought.
