Kathmandu (Xisong report) on the afternoon of January 4, 2020, Lumbini Buddha Holy Land Charity Foundation (Hong Kong) went to Kathmandu to participate as part of the delegate teams of "Coming for peace" praying and chanting ceremony with thousands of participants. At the invitation of Mr. Bhattarai, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal, accompanied by Ms. Sattva Zhang, Secretary General of the World Peace Association, the delegated team visited Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, and was warmly received by Minister Bhattarai and other officials.
In the office of Mr. Bhattarai, the Minister first welcomed the delegation to Nepal and briefed the delegation on the development plan of Nepal and Lumbini. Then Chairman Yu Jingshan introduced to Minister Bhattarai and other officials the concept and planning of "Sakyamuni Peace Plaza" and "Lumbini Buddhist Cultural Special Economic Zone - World Peace City". After the introduction, Minister Bhattarai expressed great enthusiasm and affirmation for the project concept and planning. He immediately said that the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal would set up a special working group to discuss the project with the Foundation. At the same time, he made it clear that the government of Nepal would be responsible for coordination, and the foundation would be responsible for the funding and operation of the project. When the minister knew that the delegation would arrive in Lumbini the next day, he immediately arranged the reception work from the local government in Lumbini.
