On March 28, 2019, the 22nd preparatory meeting of china-korea-japan buddhist friendship exchange conference, sponsored by the buddhist association of China, co-sponsored by the buddhist association of guangdong province and hosted by putuo temple of zhuhai, was held in zhuhai, guangdong province.A total of 31 buddhist representatives from China, South Korea and Japan attended the meeting.Mr. Yuan gujie, vice minister of the united front work department of guangdong provincial party committee and director of the committee of ethnic and religious affairs of guangdong province; Mr. Zeng xiaohui, deputy director of the committee of ethnic and religious affairs of guangdong province; Mr. Guo caiwu, member of the standing committee of zhuhai municipal committee and minister of the united front work department of the united front work department of the CPC central committee attended the meeting.
Master mingsheng, head of the delegation of the buddhist association of China and vice President of the buddhist association of China, master zhimin, head of the delegation of the buddhist association of Korea and chief affairs officer of the association of buddhist associations of Korea, and master wu jue chao, head of the delegation of the buddhist delegation of Japan and chairman of the council of the international buddhist exchange association of Japan and South Korea addressed the meeting respectively.The meeting discussed and signed the agreement, determined the venue, date and theme of the 22nd china-korea-japan friendly exchange conference on Buddhism, and discussed specific matters for the exchange of monks' practice and experience in 2019.During the meeting, the participants, accompanied by master mingsheng, vice President of the buddhist association of China, and the Chinese league members, visited putuo temple in zhuhai. They came from the putuo temple spiritual stage choir and performing artists, presenting a wonderful performance of traditional Chinese culture to the representatives of the three countries.
Buddhism friendly exchanges in Korea and Japan in the conference by the former President of the man at the beginning of the buddhist association of China and Korea, Japanese buddhist monks joint initiative launched in 1995 and founded, mainly based on the idea of "golden link", aims to build China, South Korea, Japan Buddhism friendly relations, and actively promote the three people's friendly exchanges and maintain stability in east Asia and the world peace.The first meeting was held in Beijing in May of the year the conference was founded.
