Meeting with the Ancient City to Write a New Chapter in Culture and Tourism

       On October 28, 2023, Chairman Yu Jingshan of the Lumbini Buddha Holy Land Construction Charity Foundation was invited to meet with Dr. Jibraj Ashrit, Chairman of the Nepal Jibraj Ashrit Foundation, in the ancient city of Xi'an, China Mr. Sagar Neupane will meet.

       Xi'an is the starting point of the Silk Road, and 13 dynasties have established their capitals here in history. It is a world-renowned historical city, on par with world-renowned ancient cities such as Rome, Athens, and Cairo. It is also the longest established capital among the six ancient capitals of China. Located in the south of Xi'an, the Da Ci En Temple houses Buddhist statues, relics, and Sanskrit scriptures brought back by Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang from India. Master Xuanzang was one of the earliest Chinese holy monks to go to Lumbini to pay homage to Shakyamuni Buddha.

      Chairman Yu and Dr. Jibraj Ashrit, Chairman of the Jibraj Ashrit Foundation Mr. Sagar Neupane had in-depth communication and exchange at the Crowne Plaza Xi'an regarding the construction of a series of projects, including the Buddha Peace Square, by the Lumbini Buddha Holy Land Construction Charity Foundation in Lumbini. The two sides reached many consensus.

        Dr. Jibraj Ashrit, Chairman of the Jibraj Ashrit Foundation Mr. Sagar Neupane said that he is very pleased to meet with Chairman Yu in Xi'an. At the same time, it was stated that this meeting is the second meeting after the Nepalese Lumbini meeting in May and the Chengdu meeting in China in June this year, and consensus has been reached in each exchange. Dr. Sagar Neupane, Chairman, hopes that this cultural and tourism project can be implemented as soon as possible to benefit the local people, and invites Chairman Yu to visit Lumbini at an appropriate time.

      Chairman Yu thanks Dr Chairman Sagar Neubane's invitation was warmly accepted.
