On October 14, 2023, President Yu Jingshan of the Lumbini Buddha Holy Land Construction Charity Foundation personally led our team to Xiamen, China to participate in the "2023 Xiamen International Buddhist Supplies (Autumn) Exhibition".
The Xiamen International Buddhist Supplies Exhibition in China was founded in 2006 and has expanded into two exhibitions in spring and autumn since 2013. The exhibition gathers high-quality products from the entire Buddhist supplies industry, making it the preferred trading platform for global Buddhist supplies industry enterprises and professional purchasers. It is also an annual event that the global Buddhist supplies industry cannot miss.
After attending the Xiamen Buddha Tool Festival, President Yu and his delegation came to Nanputuo Temple in Xiamen to pay homage to the Buddha. Nanputuo Temple is adjacent to Xiamen University and was first built in the late Tang Dynasty, known as Sizhou Temple. Due to its worship of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, similar to the Guanyin dojo on Mount Putuo in Zhejiang, it is also named "Nanputuo Temple" south of Mount Putuo and is one of the Buddhist destinations in southern Fujian.
